Purpose : The summer field school is one of the popular form of supplementary education in Russia. This form includes a short intensive course of lectures and workshops, seminars, «round tables» and excursions on archaeological sites. The format of the summer field school allow to attract the latest achievements of natural sciences and information technologies. «The Siberian Archaeological Field School» was one of the first projects in Siberia, which adapted the form of summer field school. SAFS was held for five years (2006-2010). Similar schools, as SAFS were held in the territory of Siberia, for example, еhe May field school, conducted by A. L. Zaika (Krasnoyarsk); International Summer Field Archaeological School, conducted by L. V. Tataurova (Omsk); scientific and practical field seminars for students, conducted by A. A. Tkachev (Tyumen). In 2014 «The Siberian Archaeological Field School» was restarted. Summing up of outcome of field school - 2014 is the main purpose of the article. The school was attended by over 60 participants from 10 cities of Russia and Europe. More than 20 lecturers from leading scientific centers in Russia (Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, St.-Petersburg) and in the world (USA, France, Japan) were invited for these educational project. As one of the most fundamental parts of the school frame were the online lectures (webinars) with archaeologists from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Central Washington University, University of Bordeaux, Institute of History of Material Culture and Novosibirsk State Uni- versity. Results : «Siberian archaeological field school» in 2014 consisted of two parts. The first one involved the lectures, roundtables and practice, held on the base of NSU, IAE SB of RAS in Novosibirsk. The second part took place in Republic of Khakassia and included field seminars and workshops, excursions on the archaeological sites and in the museums. System of roundtables is an innovation in SAFS-2014. The participants were given the opportunity to share their own knowledge and skills in the form of excursions on the archaeological sites (for example excursion on the Upper Paleolithic site Malaya Syya) and workshops (for example on stone knapping). Conclusion : This form of scientific discussion and the form of the educational process as a whole proposed here can be adopted as one of the effective tools in the formation of professional archaeologists. Practice of webinar conducting established itself on the positive side and suggests further development of the webinar system and online-conferences with the participation of leading scientists in Russia and abroad.
