Ceremonial complex of the green week of the Russian old residents and new settlers of the West Siberian Trans-Urals

The article deals with the ceremonial folklore, which is one of the brightest and original parts of the traditional culture of Russian old residents and new settlers of the West Siberian Trans-Urals. The basic aspect of any folklore tradition accumulating a lot of its fundamental features is the ritual genres. The ritual folklore of the West Siberian Trans-Urals embraces the diversity of elements assimilated by the Siberian folklore. The new settlers have the most complete calendar cycle of the whole year, which is also distinguished in fragments by Russian oldtimers (Winter Christmastide, Shrovetide, Trinity).
