General characteristics of political and legal thoughts of Ancient Greece

The article presents the characteristics of political and legal views in ancient Greece, the reasoning of philosophers of the V-IV centuries BC about the formation of the state. The main treatises of Aristotle about the origin of the state are considered. In conclusion, it is concluded that all the teachings of Aristotle are used and studied in higher institutions around the world until now.
