One of the significant elements of the psychological preparation of athletes in sports aerobics is the development of the need to achieve success. Psychological training develops the necessary qualities that contribute to the formation of mental, technical and tactical capabilities of athletes in any sport. The article considers the principles of general psychological training of high - skilled aerobists. The content of the technique of ideomotor training for those who go in for sports aerobics, which increases the efficiency of performing complex elements of the competitive program, is substantiated.
