Total value locked as an indicator of the evaluation of cryptocurrency projects

The article reveals the essence of the total value locked as an indicator of the evaluation of projects in the cryptocurrency sector of decentralized finance. Attention is paid to staking and its types. The features of the application of capitalization indicators - circulating capitalization and capitalization with full issue, the disadvantages of their use are considered. It was found out that there is a significant difference between the analysis of the total value locked of an individual cryptocurrency project and the analysis of the total value locked of the blockchain ecosystem.
