Public safety as a strategic national priority in the field of national security

The relevance of the issue of public safety is directly related to the modern realities of its provision and functioning. This category is considered from the point of view of one of the priority directions of our state's policy, as a result, its implementation today contributes to the elimination of threats posed by modernity. Having some shortcomings in its functioning, public security is considered a stable, unshakable and systemic lever of influence on public relations, which works to exclude negative criminogenic, spontaneous aspects from the life of every person. There is a need to analyze the terminology, essence, goals and objectives of public security, its place in the national security system, as well as regulatory legal acts regulating it and the threats that it aims to identify, eliminate and predict.
