Public danger of illegal production and (or) turnover of ethanol, alcoholic and ethanol-containing products: harmfulness and precedence

The social danger of illegal production and (or) turnover of ethanol, alcoholic and ethanolcontaining products (Articles 171.1, 171.3 and 171.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) is analyzed in the article with the help of “public danger” term, formulated by A.V. Shesler. The main signs of the public danger for this act are described, which are expressed in harmfulness and precedence; character and degree of public danger for this act are presented; the object of the criminal act has been identified, which is directly harmed by illegal actions during the illegal production and (or) turnover of ethanol, alcoholic and ethanolcontaining products.
