Public control and other institutions of society control over the state bodies activities

The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of «public control» by its comparing with other institutions of supervision over the state authorities’ activities by the society such as social control, civilian control and national control. The author comes to a conclusion that the public control and civilian control are equivalent concepts and defines the social control as a kind of civilian control. It claims that the latter is one of the directions of national control, which is considered as execution by people of its sovereign rights.
