Society and crime: foreign experience of victimological impact

This article is devoted to analysis of foreign experience of the impact of society on the crime. The article notes that the direction of victimological prevention of crimes actively developed in the countries of Western Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, etc.), as well as in the United States, Canada, and Japan. In these countries, there were active development of not only theoretical problems of victimology, but also the practical aspects of this field of prevention of offences. The conclusion notes that the study and the analysis of foreign experience in this field and evidence-based adjustments as applied to modern social conditions in Russia will allow to overcome the existing gap, outline the primary tasks for the formation and implementation of victim policy of our state to improve the legal and social levels for the protection of victims of crime (victims) in the Russian Federation.
