Examination and search - unity or struggle of opposites?

The article considers the content of the operational-search activity «inspection of premises, buildings, structures, terrain and vehicles» and the investigative action «search», by comparing their differences and common features. The authors make conclusion about the doubtfulness of the assessment by some representatives of the judiciary of the public examination and search as identical categories.
