The article substantiates the need for paying a greater attention to training to use the interrogative particles indeed and reallyin speech. It also investigates the role of intonation in the process of training foreign students to use these particles. Besides, the article analyzes the implementation of the types of intonational constructions while using these particles. The effectiveness of the learning process is enhanced due to the use of situational tasks. The article provides the examples of applying situational tasks used in teaching to deal with the interrogative particles indeedand reallyin speech.
