Teaching students the intonation and melody of the English language

In this article the author considers the role of intonation and its components, stress, rhythm and melody in English speech. Since each language has its own original intonation pattern. Proper intonation leads to a better understanding of the interlocutor and a pleasant conversation. Today, intonation is one of the important stages of learning a foreign language, because incorrect intonation leads to distortion and no understanding of the meaning of the statement.
