Teaching speaking to students in the field of marketing communications using artificial intelligence technologies

Statement of the problem. There is a necessity to include integrative elements in the methodological support of professionally oriented foreign language teaching, predominantly for the development of speaking, which is a key point of marketing communication of future specialists in the field of management. There is a lack of situationallyoriented organizational educational speech material for teaching speaking, created on the basis of artificial intelligence (AI), which does not limit the initiative and independence of students, but, on the contrary, provides them with dimension for creative activity, gradually wakes up interest and forms a positive emotional response to learning a foreign language, since speech situations include a variety of information of a cognitive and cultural nature, simulate practical tasks, focused on the future potentially successful prospects of students. The purpose of the article is to present the authors’ developments on the use of the TWEE platform in the creation of speaking materials, taking into account professional orientation and the development of marketing communication. Methodology (materials and methods) of the research consists of the concept of using the educational potential of multimedia technologies in a multicultural context (M.A. Bovtenko, A.V. Fedorov, etc.), the features of using multimedia technologies in the process of foreign language teaching of specialists in non-linguistic universities (M.D. Abdulrahaman, J. Biggs, D. Nunan, A.T. Dina, G.O. Martin-Kniep), the specifics of using multimedia technologies in teaching a foreign language (J. Harmer, M. Lewis, C. Lambert, M.E. Ryabova). Research results. A set of exercises for the development of speaking activities is proposed for inclusion in the educational design based on the material of the ESP English course for managers, generated on the TWEE platform, which includes such effective tools for organizing speech practice as: modeling problematic speech situations, discussions based on speech supports and samples, modifications or compilations of dialogues on the topic. There are descriptions how to use examples of exercises and texts created on the TWEE platform, apply a step-by-step process of questions application for discussion purposes during English lessons.
