Customary law of Buryats about the responsibility for causing harm

The proposed article is devoted to the institute of responsibility for causing harm. The author researches correlation of amount of compensation to the character of violated customary norm of Buryats in XVIII-XIX centuries. In addition, an attempt of legislator to ensure the inviolability of property, the basis of social and economic order by emergency measures, indistinctive for customary law of Buryats.
