Overview of specialities of cash management in a bank

Despite the fact that over time there is an increase in non-cash transactions and electronic payments, cash remains the main payment instrument in the Russian Federation today. The article summarizes the ways and methods for assessment and analysing money flows. The stages of money flow management are described. The directions of optimization for elimination of problems and shortcomings in the money flow management system are presented. The main requirements for the cash management system are specified.
