The most known rheological models of engine oils used at calculations of dynamics of journal bearings of a crankshaft are considered. The greatest distribution was received with the models considering nonlinear behaviour of viscosity. The review of some design procedures of journal bearings considering non-Newtonian behaviour of a lubricant is executed.
