The article presents the types of automatic locomotive signaling systems. The advantages and disadvantages of each system in terms of signal transmission methods are considered. Disadvantages of automatic locomotive signaling of continuous operation are given. The conclusion is made about the need to improve the automatic locomotive signaling.
