Overview of the current features of the organization of procurement activities in the Russian commercial firms of the telecommunications industry

In connection with the sanctions and restrictive measures imposed on the Russian Federation and certain sectors of the economy in recent years, telecommunications companies have taken measures to hedge risks in 2022-23, including in the field of optimization of the logistics complex. The article provides a brief description of the main results of economic activity by the end of 2022, an overview of the features of the organization of supply activities of Russian commercial companies in the telecommunications industry. The specifics of procurement activities in certain categories in connection with the changes that have occurred are shown, the causes of their occurrence are considered, risks are assessed and recommendations for overcoming them are proposed. The problem of technological sovereignty in the field of telecommunications as the basis of security for all categories of economic agents of Russian society is also considered: government, business, households, public organizations. The main trends are clear: increase in Asian imports, revaluation of the cost of goods and services, and growth of supply from Russian manufacturers. In the short term, all of the above has a negative impact on the financial performance of companies and the level of technological solutions applied, but in the long term, with proper efforts, it can increase technological independence and the volume of demand in the domestic market.
