Overview of foreign public organization practices control over the activities of state authorities

The article examines the concept, essence and significance of public control over the activities of government bodies. The key principles on which the system of public control in a democratic state should be based are identified. Particular attention is paid to the review of successful practices of organizing public control over the activities of public authorities in the developed countries of Europe and the United States.
