The implementation of new educational standards in the practice of pre-school educational institutions and verification of their effectiveness are possible only under condition of receiving feedback. This feedback can be provided by the system of teacher’s professional competence assessment on the basis of evaluating the pedagogical work results. Such system will ensure the assessment of educational system efficiency and prediction of its further development. The search for optimal ways of forming the preschool education teachers’ professional competence under the conditions of continuing professional education requires clarification of the concept system. This article describes one of the approaches to developing the system of evaluating the quality of teacher’s professional competence. The purpose of this article is to describe the theoretical approaches to developing the models of teacher’s professional competence assessment on the base on the current regulatory framework of the education system.
