The paper presents the results of a study of the amino acid composition of cows with various clinical status (healthy, patients with osteodystrophy) with their constant maintenance in a natural and man-made province, which was the purpose of the study. In the milk of relatively healthy animals with osteodystrophy, there was a pronounced proline deficiency and moderate deficiency of lysine, glutamic acid with excessive arginine and serine levels. At the same time, in the milk of sick animals, the amino acid score was from 111.60 to 283.33 %, a mixture of sulfur-containing amino acids - methionine and cystine was found to be limiting. In the milk of cows with osteodystrophy, the imbalance of essential amino acids to the required norm is expressed. Thus, in cows with osteodystrophy, the content of amino acids in milk is changed in comparison with clinically healthy ones. It has been established that the limiting amino acids are sulfur-containing methionine + cystine, and the biological value of milk obtained from animals in a natural and man-made province has also been reduced.
