After stroke, the main cause of disability of patients is the gait violation. Monitoring the state of gait in the post-stroke patient in the process of rehabilitation is an urgent task to solve the problem of recovery of motor activity and mobility of patients. The paper presents the results of a survey of 50 people: 34 patients in the late recovery period of stroke and 16 healthy volunteers. An assessment was made of the biomechanical characteristics of walking along the horizontal surface in patients in the late recovery period of a stroke. It was found that the application of the motion analysis technique allows determining biomechanical features that reflect pathological variants of the organization of motion, which can be a prognostic factor in restoring motor skills or developing compensatory mechanisms. It is assumed that this technique allows us to build a model of motion disturbance and assess the impact of clinical improvements on biomechanical processes.
