Children depression inventory as a tool for adolescents depression estimation on Russian community sample

The aim of the present study was to conduct adaptation and standardization of Children Depression Inventory (CDI by MLKovach) on Russian community sample. 826 teenagers aged 13-17 from Moscow, Bishkek and Izhevsk had participated in the survey. The standardized CDI had shown high internal consistency (alpha=0.874) and was proved to be a reliable tool for adolescents depressiveness estimation. Increasing of total CDI scores with age was shown for adolescent girls and decreasing for adolescent boys.
