Evaluation of the degree and dynamics of iodine deficiency over Samara region's districts and id dependency on man-made pollution during 1999-2006 periods

Analysis of ID over Samara region and in the districts during 1999-2006 periods is presented in this study. Evaluation of the degree of ID was performed with help of epidemic criterion which have been included by WHO as one of the indicators of ID - neonatal hyperthyrotropinemia. Neonatal screening of congenital hypothyroidism detects this indicator. The dependency between some man-made pollution and ID degree was analyzed.
