Estimate of vegetation dynamics at index plots in the middle part of the Volga-Akhtuba flood-plain

The paper presents the results of long-term observations of the dynamics of the flora and plant communities at two sites in the middle part of the Volga-Akhtuba flood-plain. As a whole, changes in floristic composition of phytocenosises have not gone beyond yearly fluctuations. However, vegetation cover indicates increasing worsening of the middle part flooding of the Volga-Akhtuba flood-plain by 2012.
