Assessment of the financial condition and measures to improve the agricultural sustainability in the North Caucasus federal district

The purpose of the study is to assess the financial state of agriculture in the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) and to develop proposals to increase the sustainability of its development, taking into account regional peculiarities. The analysis of the differentiation of the conditions for the formation of financial results of the agrarian economy of the subjects of the district, as well as their impact on the socio-economic development of rural territories, is studied. The factors that form the specifics of the functioning of the rural economy and the financial condition of agricultural organizations of the NCFD are established. The hypothesis is put forward that in the conditions of insufficient financial resources for conducting expanded reproduction, the increase in the socioeconomic efficiency of the industry is determined by the degree of efficiency of agricultural implementation of the diversified agrarian economy potentials of the subjects of the district and the direction of state support. A set of measures to improve the financial stability of agricultural production is proposed.
