The article is devoted to the issues of assessment and development of digital competencies of employees of a gas transportation company. A profile of digital competencies for managers and personnel reserve is proposed, and a fund of assessment tools is developed to assess the level of proficiency in various digital competencies taking into account the specifics of the gas industry. An assessment center for 1,443 managers and employees, who are in the personnel reserve, was organized. Based on the results of the assessment center, a list of digital competencies, the levels of which are insufficiently developed, and target groups of employees sent for training were determined.
