Assessment and development of personnel

This article is devoted to studying of essence of assessment and development of personnel. During writing of this work the relevance of this problem was defined, works of various authors concerning the matter are studied. In the course of studying of essence of performance appraisal its definition was studied, the performance appraisal purposes are investigated, the main criteria on the basis of which this assessment is carried out are defined, and the main methods used for assessment of employees are also analysed. During the analysis of essence of development of personnel its main methods are investigated, and objects of its orientation are also defined.
