Students’ assessment of informational safety of educational environment

The article deals with the problem of information security of education. Information security is defined as the state of protection of the vital interests of the individual, which is manifested in the ability to detect and compensate the impact of the threat information. The data, collected during the monitoring of complex safety of the secondary education were presented. The authors demonstrated the differences between the evaluations done by the school pupils and by the college students concerning the facts of the Internet dissemination of compromising information. The authors demonstrated that school students more often than students of colleges face a spread of the compromising information in the Internet.
