Assessment of investment attractiveness and investment climate of regions. Case of the Republic of Belarus

The article presents the results of assessing the investment attractiveness and the investment climate of the regions of the Republic of Belarus for the period 2011-2016, for which the methodology is used that combines the investment potential and the investment risk of the region. Weights of the partial indicators included in the model were obtained by the authors using correlation analysis. The reliability of the calculations is confirmed by the high correlation coefficient between the results of the assessment and the values of the actual investment activity of the regions.
