Evaluation of the use of the free procedure customs zone as a security tool investment attractiveness of the Kaliningrad special economic zone

The article discusses the practice of applying the customs procedure «free customs zone» as a tool to increase the investment attractiveness of the region and, as a result, increase investment security. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the economic efficiency of the application of the procedure of the free customs zone as an instrument of investment attractiveness of special economic zones. The analysis of the volume and structure of commodity investments placed under the «free customs zone» procedure is carried out on the example of the Kaliningrad Special Economic Zone. An assessment of the effect of the application of this measure is carried out.
