Assessing the effectiveness of the blood service Novosibirsk region in modern conditions

In the year 2007 the reorganization of blood supply service in Novosibirsk region was made. As a result of the reformation, the number of the institutions procuring donor blood reduced in 5 times, authorized staff size - in 2 times. This changes allow to raise labour productivity of workers, save the donor potential of the region, boost the volume of blood procurement, implement new production and laboratory technologies, advance the provision of blood components and also create transfusion service in healthcare organizations of Novosibirsk region.
