Estimation of the effectiveness of hernioplasty in patients with hernias of the anterior abdominal wall using the SF-36

The technique of hernioplasty with the preperitoneal placement of the prosthesis due to the rejection of a broad mobilization of tissues and reduction of the operating injury made it possible to achieve a two-fold reduction in the periods of early postoperative treatment. In the long term after the operation, the quality of life worsened complaints of pain or discomfort, as well as the nature of the synthetic material used. The option of placing the prosthesis on the quality of life in the long-term period had no effect.
