Evaluation of the effectiveness of trucks with supplies of power units

The purpose of the article is to evaluate the efficiency of trucks with various power units. The author presents the results of the analysis of the percentage of the negative impact of trucks in the Russian Federation as of January 1, 2022. An overview of a number of systems is presented, the purpose of which is to directly reduce the amount of harmful substances in exhaust gases. A comparison of DAF trucks with a diesel engine, electric engine, hybrid engine and HBO was made, the problem of the lack of infrastructure for electric motors was identified. In conclusion, the conclusion is made about the use and efficiency of hybrid freight transport in modern conditions.
