The article considers topical issues related to the assessment of effective management of enterprises, which have always been important not only for enterprises engaged in the provision of public utilities to the population in the local areas, but also for consumers of services. In the course of the marketing research, the causes and problems of various natures were identified that affect the low quality of services provided and which are directly related to the solution of the issue of an objective assessment of the effectiveness of service enterprises. The use of the proposed measures to assess the effectiveness of a service enterprise based on the developed criteria will be understandable to all participants and will be an incentive for the effectiveness of management of an enterprise providing services to the population. This will allow you to see the most complex problems and omissions in the provision of quality services.
