Evaluation of the efficiency of inflicting damage to a group air target without taking into account the enemy’s counteraction

The article determines the values of the probability of causing damage to the elements of a group air target under existing conditions and using the modernized T. Saaty’s method, which takes into account the ranking of the importance of the elements of a given air target. The authors make a calculation of the required outfit of guided air-to-air missiles necessary for causing damage to a group air target. The article evaluates the efficiency of the applied method, which takes into account the ranking of the importance of elements of a group air target. As an efficiency criterion, there were used a mathematical expectation of the number of destroyed important elements of a group air target.
