The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of antioxidant complex (vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids) intake in girls aged 18-21 years. The study involved 30 female students of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Yugra State University” aged 18-21 years. All girls at the time of examination had I or II health groups and attended stretching classes twice a week, the duration of the classes was 60 minutes. Depending on the nature of nutraceutical support, the subjects were divided into two groups: 1) a group that took dietary supplements (n=15 people); 2) a control group that did not receive dietary supplements (n=15 people). The representatives of the experimental group were consulted by a nutritionist before taking dietary supplements. The duration of taking dietary supplements was 3 months. Each subject underwent a set of examinations including anthropometric and functional status assessment. Taking vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids for three months did not lead to significant changes in weight and height index of BMI, but had a favorable effect on the functional state of the cardiovascular system: a significant decrease in heart rate by 6.2% and increase in pulse pressure by 6.4% in girls 18-21 years old was found, as well as a significant decrease in adaptive potential and a significant increase in the level of functional status.
