Evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation of the “School of excellence” project as an innovative form of organizing the educational process at a medical university

The article is devoted to the analysis of the activities of the “Schools of Excellence” at the Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovsky. An online survey of students who have successfully completed the school's educational program was conducted, the students' inclination to early and (or) conscious choice of a medical specialty, and their level of satisfaction with the quality of the educational process were analyzed. It is shown that participation in the educational project “School of Excellence” contributes to students' conscious choice of their future specialty and the formation of additional professional competencies in them. The need to strengthen the practical component of the project, increase the volume and complexity of students' independent work in conditions as close as possible to the real diagnostic and treatment process is substantiated.
