The relevance of the article is to study the problem of improving approaches to assessing the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS). The authors believe that the multidimensional nature of the QMS at the enterprise creates significant difficulties in assessing its effectiveness. Therefore, it is proposed to make a general assessment of the effectiveness of the QMS by evaluating the effectiveness of its individual components and components, considering the relationship of the QMS with the concept of universal quality management (TQM), based on the long-term goals of enterprise development and the fullest satisfaction of consumer needs.
