Estimating effectiveness of the competitive activity of 13-14-year-old boxers at the beginning of training

The search for ways to increase the effectiveness of the competitive activity of young boxers at the initial stage of sports training leads to the understanding of the need to develop and apply a set of leading indicators and criteria for their evaluation. This is an important condition for forming skills in the constant monitoring of training and competitive activities; mastering the intricacies of individual execution of techniques of attacking and defensive techniques; awareness of the importance of perception, attention, thinking that provide the understanding of the need to continuously improve the management skills of motor activity, without which it is impossible to achieve the goals and objectives of sports training. The criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of competitive activities reflect the main aspects of athletic training of boxers; allow to establish feedback in the subject-subject relations system; intensify of the athlete's desire for self-realization. The results of the pedagogical experiment show that the use of various indicators and criteria for assessing the competitive activity of boxers contributes to the understanding of the essence of boxing, its specific characteristics as a kind of sporting activity where the perfect technique of attacking and defensive techniques are required to achieve victory.
