Assessment of efficiency of the main types of international cooperation in the field of nuclear energy

The relevance of the problem under study is due to the development of nuclear energy in the world and the need for international cooperation to find new areas of growth and development. Currently, the development of nuclear energy within one country is not possible, as it requires not only significant investments for the implementation of projects, but also continuous improvement of technologies to achieve the required level of safety and environmental friendliness of production. In this regard, international cooperation is relevant both for the leading countries of the industry, able to participate in the exchange of experience and carry out their activities abroad, and for countries in which nuclear energy is only at the stage of formation, by providing their territory and labor. The author considers the main types of international cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, the effectiveness of participation in them by the leading countries of the nuclear industry. The article is aimed at determining the economic efficiency of the main types of international cooperation and their ordering according to the degree of effectiveness. To achieve this goal, an assessment of the economic efficiency of each of the main types of international cooperation was carried out and economic results were calculated using the example of real projects. The materials of the article can be used to justify the choice of the most effective type of international cooperation by nuclear corporations, as well as in research work on the problems of improving the efficiency of international activities of companies.
