The article presents the results of studies assessing the ecological status of lakes located in a protected natural area. The studies of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems are made using fluctuating asymmetry method, which have received a positive assessment of the Main Department of Analytical Control (MDAC at Ministry of Natural Resources). As an indicator of terrestrial ecosystems the authors use woody plant, which is most common for Russian territory - silver birch (Betula pendula), and the aquatic ecosystem - ordinary perch (Perca fluviatilis L.). According to the results of measurements and calculations values of the indicators of fluctuating asymmetry for the above indicators are obtained. The environmental quality is estimated. The ecological map of the territory is compiled. The studies have shown that the greatest human impact is exposed on terrestrial ecosystem near the lakes, where a large number of recreations of the local population and the surrounding settlements are placed. The quality of the aquatic ecosystem of lakes is estimated as relatively normal. The research results can be used to conduct environmental activities.
