Assessment of the economic efficiency of an innovative project for the production of domestic gas analyzers

In the context of increasing sanctions pressure, tightening environmental requirements for oil production processes, and the growing importance of industrial safety at fuel and energy complex facilities, the development of domestic solutions for environmental control is becoming particularly relevant. This study is devoted to the economic justification for the implementation of innovative gas analyzers at enterprises of the fuel and energy sector, using OOO “INK” as an example. An analysis of the current state of gas monitoring was carried out, revealing shortcomings of imported equipment, including high cost, supply dependency, and insufficient adaptation to climatic conditions. Technical and economic modeling of a project to establish an in-house production department was conducted. The product cost, breakeven point, and key performance indicators (NPV, IRR, PI) were calculated, and a risk and sensitivity analysis of the project was performed, confirming its feasibility. The results demonstrate that the implementation of domestic gas analyzers reduces costs, enhances monitoring reliability, and contributes to the implementation of the import substitution policy in the modern Russian oil and gas sector.
