Assessment of the Emotional and Value Attitude of a Future Physics Teacher to the Value Orientations of the Chosen Profession

The article considers the specifi cs of the initial stage (preparatory period) of the anthropological self-determination of future physics teachers, associated with the formation of an emotional and value attitude to the most important value orientations of the profession. The theoretical foundations of the success of the university’s work in supporting the process of anthropological self-determination of students at the stage of introduction to the profession are determined. The defi nition of the concept of “anthropological self-determination” of a future teacher is presented; the stages of the corresponding process are highlighted. The results of studying the value orientations of future physics teachers related to their life and professional trajectory are described. A correlation has been revealed between the student’s understanding of the essence of the term “value” and knowledge of instrumental possibilities for the formation of a value sphere. It is concluded that the training of a future physics teacher at a pedagogical university aff ects the formation of the value sphere among students, provided that plot-refl ective and event-based formats of educational activities are used.
