Assessment of the energy potential of the Eurasion Economic Union countries

The article analyzes the energy sector of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The authors examine the structure of energy, the volume of electricity production and fossil fuel extraction, and assess the development of renewable energy sources in the countries of the regional association. Special attention is paid to the problems in the energy complex of the EAEU countries. As a result of the conducted research, a significant potential of the fuel and energy sector of the Union has been identified, the preservation and multiplication of which can be achieved by a number of measures - diversification of energy sources, further development of regional cooperation.
