Assessment of the creative sector of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation based on the analysis of macro environment factors

The article presents a comprehensive assessment of the creative sector of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation based on PEST analysis, covering the political, economic, sociocultural and technological aspects of its development. The key areas of creative industries, regional features of their functioning, as well as the results achieved in such areas as film production, IT, design, tourism, folk crafts and gastronomy were identified in nine subjects of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The role of the creative economy in solving the strategic tasks of the Russian Arctic is defined: the diversification of the regional economy, the retention of youth, the preservation of the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples and the formation of a sustainable image of the northern territories. In conclusion, practical initiatives are proposed to strengthen interregional and international cooperation in the creative field, including the creation of Arctic forums, educational programs and tourist routes.
