The estimation of nonspecific resistance of calf organism

As a result of investigations we established the dynamics of changes in a phagocytic activity of neutrophilic granulocytes depending on a postnatal life period of calves. The activation of phagocytosis is observed during the whole period of investigation (from birth till a month age). However, it is necessary to note the unauthentic raise of this process after the cessation of colostrums feeding by the 14-th day. The given period can be characterized as a repose one, then by the 30-th day it was a period of a further phagocytosis activation, and consequently an impressment coefficient of pharmasan-positive cells increased. This circumstance proves the immunity formation of calves depending on their age.
