Assessment of the oceangoing cargo vessels depreciation

We consider the question of assessing impairment (physical depreciation) of sea cargo ships on the basis of information about their age and deadweight. It is proposed to solve this problem with the use of economic and mathematical models. Pay particular attention to some of the problems arising from the formation of the sample. According to the author, presented the dependencies can be used to estimate the market value of vessels, combined with the results of the technical condition of the survey vessel.
