Evaluation of peculiarities of the aerodynamic characteristics of the fuselage of the lifting body transport aircraft

The article considers the possibility of increasing the lifting properties of the airframe of the transport aircraft by giving it an aerodynamically lifting shape. The evaluation of the aerodynamic characteristics of the fuselage is made on the basis of mathematical models based on the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations. The results of the calculations are given in the article. Approximating relations of basic aerodynamic characteristics of the fuselage lifting body are derived from a number of geometric characteristics that directly affect the lifting properties. The main features of the aerodynamic characteristics of the lifting body transport aircraft are defined.
