The features of operating norms and standards of evaluation activity in a Russian Federation are considered in the article. Some contradictions in normative legal acts and absence of clear determinations of concepts and terms, used in an appraisal are marked. Contained suggestion on perfection of norms of evaluations. The problems of estimation of the specialized assets are resulted on the example of oil-gas industry and way of their decision.
